Ridley Scott to direct ‘Bladerunner’ sequel

Ridley Scott has confirmed that he will direct a sequel to Bladerunner, the 1982 iconographic sci-fi film, ending much speculation that it would be directed by someone else. The film will not star Harrison Ford, the lead in the original picture, but will depart on a brand new story.
