Western Cape promotes live streaming to boost Cape Town film industry
The selected projects for this year’s Durban FilmMart, which takes place from 19-29 July 2012, have been announced.
Now in its third year, the Durban FilmMart is a meeting place for African filmmakers, financiers, broadcasters and top film experts which will take place during the 33rd Durban International Film Festival.
A Reader Panel consisting of African and international film professionals were given the demanding task of moderating and scoring the total of 110 submissions consisting of 67 feature and 43 documentary projects. Twelve fiction projects and twelve documentary projects have been chosen for one-on-one meetings with potential investors and co-producers in the Finance Forum.
