Leading a creative team remotely

Film production, to a large extent, has remote work built into it’s processes. Departments and their HODs are briefed, and get on with their tasks, regrouping and reporting when necessary,

This is of course true of both director-based, and service-based work, where briefs happen long before we get to meet our clients and colleagues in person.

So this succinct reminder from Marc de la Querra, writing for Mark Lives, about how to lead a team remotely, particularly in anxious times, is a useful recap about trusting your creative teammates and giving them the space they need to be creative and do their work.
