South African Society of Cinematographers calls for 2017 award nominations

SASC logoThe South African Society of Cinematographers (SASC) has called for nominations for the 2017 Visible Spectrum Awards, which recognise the highest levels of excellence in Cinematography currently active in the South African industry.

These awards celebrate and acknowledge the very best work produced by South African Cinematographers, and are an opportunity for Cinematographers to show off their craft, innovation
and personalised styles, and to see how these rate with their peers. Recognition by and membership of the SASC is the highest honour that can be bestowed on a South African cinematographer.

The awards will take place on 30 September 2017 at The Barnyard Theatre, Cresta, Johannesburg

There are 11 award categories, including commercials, documentary, music video, TV drama and feature films.
